Mach Industries is Hiring an IT Specialist Near Huntington, CA

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Support:

  • Provide technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.

  • Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of employee workstations and mobile devices.

2. Infrastructure Maintenance:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on servers, networks, and other IT infrastructure as directed by the Head of IT.

  • Monitor system performance and report any issues or anomalies to the IT leadership.

3. Cybersecurity Implementation:

  • Implement and maintain security measures, such as firewalls, antivirus software, and access controls, as per the company's cybersecurity policies.

  • Assist with security audits and incident response efforts under the guidance of the IT leadership.

4. Vendor Coordination:

  • Coordinate with hardware, software, and service vendors for procurement, installation, and support, as directed by the Head of IT.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures.

  • Prepare regular reports on IT operations, system performance, and security incidents for the IT leadership.

  • Project Assistance:

  • Provide support to IT projects as assigned, working closely with project managers and other team members.

8. Continuous Learning:

  • Stay current with the latest technologies and best practices in IT operations and security.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 1-3 years of experience in IT support or system administration.

  • Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with IT infrastructure in the defense or aerospace industry.

  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , or Security .

Ideal Candidate: A proactive and detail-oriented IT professional with a strong foundation in technical support and system administration. The ideal candidate should be able to work effectively in a team environment, follow established processes and procedures, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within the IT field.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offers may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and training, critical skills, and business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in most offers and are considered part of Mach’s total compensation package.
